GAR Update 3 :

We've been having lots of people applying to our guild in the past few months. We've been playing games with all of our members and having a great time. It's been a while since my last update, so there are some new things I should let people know about. I'll provide links to our new pages.

[Foreword]: Due to a thread merge that changed the topic of the old thread, now dedicated to subtitles and Dialogs display/options, please find below a repost:

I would ask Bioware to always keep in mind these people while making TOR.

I know many players with such annoyances and it's harder for them to enjoy games than anyone else.

Not that I'm for macros, but for example, NGE prevented many SWG players from playing anymore.

At least let the player choose the UI colors. If possible make it so there is more than the color to differentiate things (typos, icons...)

I might sound as the devil advocate but this is only a battle, we didn't win the war yet.
A toggle option might certainly not fulfill all needs...

We also need improvements on the subtitles, especially for the readability and being able to move them away from the middle of the screen. jump here

Stargate Worlds

Sorry, Stargate fans... It looks like the Stargate MMORPG that was in development is currently "canceled". Even though I probably wasn't going to play it, I was really rooting for that game. I'm a fan of the Stargate series. I also liked that they were using the Unreal Engine 3 game engine to develop the game. That's a pretty difficult task to have an MMO on Unreal Engine 3.

Grand Army of the Republic [ GAR ] Update 1

We have reached a total of over 330 registered members! We're still growing and we're very active! Don't waste time in other guilds, come join GAR and have fun before and during the game (SWTOR). We are multi-platform gamers, but plan on focusing on SWTOR when it is finally released. BioWare is currently shooting for a Holiday 2011 release. I expect a lot of people to be playing upon release. The description of this game is way beyond any MMORPG currently out there and is being produced by an experienced company (experienced in the way of story and gameplay). This game should be appealing to all people that like MMORPGs. Anyway, if you are looking for a fun and active guild that is also striving to become one of the best Galactic Republic guilds in the game, come check us out.
